1. Avoid Sugar and Spicy Food

Refined sugar must be avoided at all times as it increases the blood glucose level. Oily or spicy food should be avoided as it is more difficult for a diabetic person to digest such kind of foods as compared to a non-diabetic person. Oily or spicy food can cause massive stomach irritation in a diabetic patient, according to WebMD.
